Grassland Bird Habitat Awareness at Roundabout Meadows
Thanks to those of you who came on the picnic lunch in the meadow last Tuesday. I loved seeing everyone. It always gives me great pleasure to share new reasons why our efforts at Roundabout Meadows are so important.
What a terrific opportunity we had to hear from Amy and October. We all now even more aware about what birds depend on our grasslands and how valuable the voids created by meadow grasses and shrubs are for safe nesting. The seedbeds provide valuable nutrition and safe hiding for a healthy bird habitat.
I am sharing your contacts with Amy who would like to follow up with some useful links and info beyond what we learned.
Please also enjoy some photos of our glorious afternoon. Thanks to all!
Missy
